Between reading a comic book and watching a ninja movie, Hugo Bellavance finally found the time to create his own graphic novel. With his cinematic approach and striking contrasts between darkness and vibrant colors, he makes a bloody debut in the world of Quebec comics with his first work, C’est si beau le rouge. A career graphic designer and illustrator, he won the movie poster contest for Hollywood Pictures organized by the site joblo.com. He was also honored in the 100 Images of the Year by LUX magazine in 2017.
